Shelton (’84) tells story of South Sudan

On Tuesday, multimedia journalist and alumnus of the UW Communication Department Steve Shelton (B.A., 1984) wrote, “Despite today’s compromise and agreement between North and South Sudan, time will test its strength – and elasticity.”

With over 20 years of experience as a photographer and journalist, Shelton has been to Kosovo, Nicaragua, and Sudan – a country that he has revisited in partnership with nonprofit Medical Teams Worldwide and holds close to his heart.
